THE DAY WHEN EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE IS FOUND
One thing that amazes me today is the fact that till this day with all the amazing technology at our disposal, no one has yet discovered any form of life outside our planet. All we have is signs and indicators that life might or has ever existed on some extraterrestrial bodies. For example it’s been postulated that since Mars contains some form of water, it might harbor life or life might have...

The Moon Landings
40yrs ago (July, 20th 1969) Man landed on the Moon. Its one of Man’s greatest achievements and it will for long remain to be one of those things we did that seemed impossible at one time. To me unlike most people, Space Exploration is still inspiring. Every time I see that Shuttle launch or see a probe being sent out to Space, I get inspired more and more and hope that one day it will be possible...

BENEFITS OF HIGH CARBON CONCENTRATION
I was doing research for a college assignment over the weekend about Photorespiration and I lean’t something. Its turns out that high carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere is not so bad because it prevents Photorespiration. Photorespiration is a process that occurs at low carbon dioxide concentration and high oxygen concentration where C3 Plants react with ribulose bisphosphate...

ARE WE ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE
Last week NASA launched the Kepler Mission mean’t to search for Earth like planets in the Universe over a period of three years. When any such planets are found, there would be a possibility that life exists on these planets or it existed at one time. I personally believe life exists in other parts of the universe. It’s very unlikely that we are the only living beings that exist. ...
